Yotkom Uganda aims to improve access and provide excellence in healthcare through partnering with the local people of Northern Uganda. We are a registered Australian charity.
Northern Uganda is in a region of the World where there is a high disease burden. Rates of Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV / AIDS are amongst the highest in the world. YOTKOM is an ACHOLI word meaning “HEALTH” (local spoken language) “Partnering to enhance holistic healthcare access and quality in Northern Uganda by building relationships, optimising resources, and promoting self-reliance.” At Yotkom, we uphold our values of faith, love, respect, truth, and excellence in our relationships with each other, our patients and the Acholi community.

A monthly donation of $50 provides life-saving inpatient care including nursing, IV fluids, antibiotics, and blood transfusions for 10 children suffering from severe malaria or pneumonia.

Your monthly gift of $100 can provide expert pregnancy and delivery care for two women in Uganda, helping reduce maternal deaths which are over 20 times higher than in Australia

By donating to our scholarship program, you help train local Ugandans in vital health fields like Medicine, Anaesthetics, and Public Health building long-term capacity in disadvantaged regions of Africa.
What we do
Yotkom is grateful for the support of numerous partners, including Gateway Baptist Church, dedicated Australian medical professionals, family, friends and a strong prayer community. Together, we have witnessed remarkable growth through faith and collaboration.
We believe that ‘with God all things are possible’ (Matt 19:26) and that ‘He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or imagine’ (Ephesians 3:20).
